After a week of big releases, this week we had an opportunity to digest some new music. This week we had the chance to check out some sleepers that some people may have not really gotten into yet. We also began to look forward to some upcoming albums with Quavo and Ella Mai both releasing new tracks. So let’s dig into some new hot tracks from this week.

Jaden Smith – “GOKU”

Jaden Smith’s GOKU‘ track is probably one of the most energetic tracks that I’ve heard in a while. The track even included a small sample of Goku’s voice on the song. In its short time released this track has generated a lot of buzz for Jaden. The track so far has been the song included in all the NBA’s promotions heading into kickoff. The track serves as the first single off his upcoming album The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story.

Lil Wayne – “What About Me” (feat Sosaman)

What About Me” is a sleeper track off Wayne’s Tha Carter V. It is slowly creeping up the pop and crossover charts on all streaming services. The song originally said to have had Drake and Post Malone. It’s not sure what happened, but they may pop up on a remix down the line.

In this song, Weezy talks about the woman he’s in a relationship with cheating on him. As the chorus goes he’s asking her what about him and if she still loves him.

Lil Baby & Gunna – “Never Recover” (feat Drake)

With Never Recover, the trio just brags about what they have and what they can get. This is the first time Drake collaborated with Gunna and the second with Lil Baby.

T.I. – “Wraith” (feat Yo Gotti)

Wraith‘ serves as T.I.’s second single from Dime Trap. The song is one of my favorite tracks off of the album. The song has been out for about a month now, but it is finally gaining some steam on the charts and streaming playlists. His album along with this song taking over as his second single is apart of his rollout for his new show.

This is just a short list of some of the songs that I have felt all week. What songs do you feel are sleepers or hot? Let me know in the comments or tweet them to me so I can check them out.
