This year has started out pretty good for music. We have gotten some new tracks from some artists who have been missing in 2018. Not only have we been getting a consistent flow of music, but we’ve also been receiving a lot of music news. This year has been a really good year for R&B. We’ve had the pleasure of seeing artists take steps forward in helping bring the genre back to its roots. H.E.R., Daniel Caesar, Ella Mai, 6LACK, and Khalid allowed listeners to connect with their music by bringing transparency to their music. They focused in on the ups and downs of love and relationships along with the lessons they’ve learned dealing with it. The album serves as an ode to Houston culture. It’s a seamless collection of experiences that take you on a roller coaster ride. With the release of the album, Travis showed the promise we saw in him since the release of Rodeo.
