Earlier this morning Usher took to his Instagram to tease something that fans have begged for the last decade, Confessions II. The original album was produced mostly by Jermain Dupri and was one of the biggest R&B albums of the early 2000s.
Its almost mid-March and we have already begun to see a consistent flow of new music. So far we have received new albums from Solange and 2 Chainz. B2k’s “Millennium Tour” and Ella Mai’s “The Debut Tour” also kicked off this month and amidst all of that we’ve gotten a good amount of tracks to go underneath a lot of people’s radar. That is when we come in to give you guys this month’s sleeper tracks so far. So let’s get into it.
Growing up in the 90s was an amazing experience for me. I got to experience a time where people still brought music from music stores. While visiting these stores you could listen to some samples from select albums on these machines through headphones. To find new and different music you had to flip through vinyls in crates separated by different categories. The same process was for cassettes and CDs.
Back in high school, I can remember falling in love with music and burning mixtapes. I would spend hours listening to music and scrolling through Kazaa and LimeWire searching for the latest singles to add to an upcoming mixtape. Unlike today, it would take literally hours to download music due to the speed of dial-up internet.
